Ada Virginia Dickerson

On Wednesday May 17th, 2023, Ada Virginia Dickerson went home to be with the Lord. She was born September 13th, 1930, to the late Mrs. Pauline Virginia Moye.

Virginia Dickerson was educated in the Westmoreland County Public schools. She was called to Christ at an early age and joined Siloam Baptist Church. She later moved her membership to Shiloh Baptist church Lerty, Virginia where she served as Usher and Deaconess and sung on several choirs for many years.  She later became a member of Little Zion Baptist church.

Virginia was a childcare provider for numerous kids in the Westmoreland and Colonial Beach area.

On May 15, 1948, she was united in Holy Matrimony to Olga Dickerson. From this union five children were born.

Virginia leaves to cherish her precious memory Alexander (Deloris) of Montross VA, Harold (Linda) of Colonial Beach VA, Leonard (pre-deceased) Darcia of Colonial Beach, VA, Curtis of Spotsylvania, VA; one sister, Alverta Kelly Branson; 13 grandkids; 21 great-grandkids; and a host of great-great kids, nieces and nephews

Service of Remembrance for Ada Virginia Dickerson of Oak Grove, Virginia will be held on Thursday, May 25 at 12 Noon in the sanctuary of the Little Zion Baptist Church, 7748 Leedstown Road, Oak Grove, Virginia.

Interment will follow in the Little Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.

Remains may be viewed from 10 AM until service time on Thursday at Little Zion Baptist Church.
