Braxton Lee Broyles, Sr., departed this life on Monday, February 20, 2022.
Braxton Lee Broyles Sr., age 72, passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022, surrounded by his family.
Braxton was born on August 3, 1949, to the late Hubert and Mattie Broyles.
His parents and stepmother, Dessie Broyles preceded him in death.
He was a retired employee of H. Warshow and Sons and Essex Concrete.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years and 9 months, Katherine Comer Broyles; his sons, J.R. Broyles (Betty) of Farnham, VA, Arty Broyles of Warsaw, VA; Andre Brown and Adrianna Comer, whom he raised as his own; grandsons, Austin Broyles of Thompson Station, TN, Dustin Broache of AL; his sister, Kay Hale (Bud) of Selma, VA.; and a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.
Mr. Broyles may be viewed from 6PM until 8PM, this evening Wednesday, February 23, 2022, in the chapel of the WELDON-FISHER FUNERAL HOME.
