Dorothy Annabel Jackson

Dorothy Jackson passed away on Saturday, October 1 at the Carrington Place in Tappahannock, Virginia.

Dorothy Annabel Jackson, beloved daughter of Arthur Thompson and Charlotte Dean Thompson, was born on January 2, 1934, in Ambler, Pennsylvania. Her earthly life ended on October 1, 2022, at the Carrington Place Health & Rehab Center, Tappahannock, Virginia.

She enjoyed reading her bible doing puzzles, and puzzle books. She was a faithful member of Zion Baptist Church in Kinsale, Virginia.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Charlotte Thompson; her beloved husband, Sherman Robert Jackson; six sisters; and three step-brothers.

She leaves to mourn her devoted, loving daughter, Yvonne T. Hunt of Hampton, VA; her niece, Vanessa Bagby of Lancaster, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 14 at 12 Noon in the sanctuary of Zion Baptist Church, 1274 Zion Church Road, Kinsale, Virginia.

Interment will follow in the Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.

Remains may be viewed from 10AM until service time on Friday at Zion Baptist Church.
