Frances Lee Lewis- Dameron

Frances Lee Lewis-Dameron of Montross, Virginia, passed away on December 8, 2022. Frances was born on February 20, 1956, in Richmond, Virginia to the late Virginia Estelle Lewis. She was raised by the late Harry & Minnie Ashton in Hague, Virginia. 

After graduating from Washington & Lee High School, Frances worked at several restaurants and retailers where she was loved and adored by many customers and colleagues. She always wore a smile and brought joy to everyone she came across. Frances raised 3 children and went on to love and cherish 18 grandchildren. In 2014, Frances married Wayne Dameron and remained happily married for 8 years. 

Frances was a member of Potomac Baptist Church and was fueled by faith. She was a member of the Women of G.R.A.C.E., Vice President of the Ushers Ministry, a member of the New Life Choir and the Senior Choir, and Assistant to the Clerk.

Aside from spending time in church, she enjoyed reading, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. Her spirit was infectious and she will be remembered by the many, many people whose hearts she has touched. 

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband Wayne Dameron; sons, Howard Lewis and Derek Nichols (Ayaka); daughter, Melissa Turner (Brian); 18 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters-in-law; 1 brother-in-law; and a host of cousins and close friends.

Service's of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, December 17 at 1PM in the sanctuary of the Potomac Baptist Church, 6099 Nomini Hall Road, Hague, Virginia.

Interment will follow in the Potomac Baptist Church Cemetery.

Remains may be viewed from 4PM until 6PM on Friday, December 16 in the chapel of WELDON-FISHER FUNERAL HOME and from 11AM until service time on Saturday at Potomac Baptist Church.
