Keywon Gaskins passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 22, 2022, in Westmoreland County, Virginia.
Keywon Maquee Gaskins, son of Terry Maquee Gaskins Sr., Vicki Diane Gaskins and Barbara Mudd, was born on October 12, 1995, in Richmond, VA. He was raised in his hometown of Heathsville, Virginia.
Keywon departed this life on Thursday, September 22, 2022, in Westmoreland County, Virginia.
Keywon received his education in the schools of Northumberland County. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. He was a man of few words but had a heart of gold with a smile to match. He loved music, dancing, singing, and working.
Keywon is preceded in death by his grandparents, Hazel Gaskins Bagby and Alfonzo Bruce Gaskins Sr.; aunt, Sandy Gaskins; uncle, Munir Blake; great-grandparents, Samuel Gaskins and Laura Mae Gaskins Gordon.
He leaved to cherish his memory his father, Terry Maquee Gaskins Sr.; mother, Vicki Gaskins and Barbara Mudd; three wonderful kids, Avah Laoria Crockett, Mi’lani Kahsi Crockett, and CaVonta Samon Crockett of Lancaster, VA; three brothers, Terry Maquee Gaskins Jr. (Chanel) of Lakeland, FL, Larry Jackson of Laurnburg, NC, and Darnell Johnson of Rappahannock, VA; four sisters, Markia Cuffee (Joey) of Brownstore, VA, Jackie Boggs of Washington, DC, Theresa Mudd of Lakeland, FL, and Brittany Pierce of Fayettville, NC; godparents, Karen Noel, Mamie Kelley, and Joseph Seldon Jr. whom he loved so much; grandparents, Peggy & Norris Keeve and Leroy & Phyllis Cuffee; three special friends, Latara Jackson, Molesha Crockett, and Chad Webb; a very special person he also called “mama”, Mary Jane Crockett; a person he loved so much he called his “lil brother”, Aaron Lavon Cupitt Jr.; aunts, Tanya Gaskins, Khadijah Blake, Norrisa Keeve, Brittani Keeve, Shawan Keeve, Ylinda Treakle, Esha Hall (Timothy), Nicda Keeve (Maine), and LaKisha Owens (Garrick); uncles, William Blake, Leroy Cuffee Jr., Omar Blake Isaw Blake, Dante Gaskins, Sunday Taylor (Jean), Carl Noel (Kiki), Steve Keeve (Penny), Alfonzo Bruce Gaskins Jr. (Tracy) & Joseph Gaskins (Jinx); a very special employer, Mike and Crystal Kappel; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 15 at 1PM in the chapel of the WELDON-FISHER FUNERAL HOME.
