Marcus Tyrone Henderson, age 27 of Farnham, Virginia entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, surrounded by his beloved mother. Marcus was born in Kilmarnock, Virginia. He was the son of Debra Copeland and Stanley Bouie.
Marcus was educated in the Richmond County Public School System. He graduated with the Class of 2016. He was employed by the Chesapeake Bay Ice Company for 7 1/2 years. He enjoyed being with his friends and in his spare time, he enjoyed playing Top Golf. He was known for wearing his hats, and his North Face sweatshirts and driving around in his Chevy Silverado, which was his pride and joy. He enjoyed caramel frappes and vanilla milkshakes. He loved taking long walks with his mother and shopping at the mall. He enjoyed traveling, and most of all being with his family and spending time with his cat Lexie.
Marcus leaves to cherish his memories, his parents Debra Copeland and Stanley Bouie of Farnham, Virginia; one brother, QuiEnte (Dionna)Testman of Birmingham, Alabama; one step-brother, Sinclair Smalls of Severn, Maryland; paternal grandmother, Ms. Mary Sue Bouie of Hemmingway, SC; step-grandmother, Harvela (Reggie) Clayton of Tuckerhill, Virginia; god-grandmother, Mrs. Anita Veney of Tappahannock, Virginia; one special aunt, Ms. Ann Chilton of Winter Park, Fl; devoted aunt and uncle, April and Rodney Gist of Milford, CT; three uncles: Norman (Marie) Weaver of Woodbridge, VA, Gregory (Carol) Bouie of Travelers Rest, SC, Le’Mark (Shakerra) Bouie of Bridgeport, CT; two devoted cousins, Monique (Lillian) Gist including her son Messiah Forbes-Gist (lovingly known as Littleman by Marcus) of Monroe, CT, and Rodney Gist Jr. of Milford, CT; special cousin, Ms. Edna Weaver-Jones of Brooklyn, NY; cousin, Keeshanna Weaver of Baltimore, MD. He also leaves two special uncles, Robert Davis and Michael Mahanes of Callao, VA. One special friend, Michael Brann. He also leaves a host of cousins, dear friends, and family.Marcus was predeceased by his Maternal grandparents, Millard and Gladys Smith; maternal grandfather, Johnny Weaver and paternal grandfather, Homer O’Neil Bouie.
A Funeral Service for Marcus Henderson will be held on Thursday, February 8 at 12 Noon in the chapel of the WELDON-FISHER FUNERAL HOME.
Interment will follow in the Northern Neck Memorial Gardens, 268 Northumberland Highway (Rt 360), Callao, Virginia.
Remains may be viewed from 10AM until service time on Thursday at the funeral home.
