Mitchell Wade Green, affectionately known as “Wadey Wade” departed this life on August 2, 2021. He was born on February 15, 1965 in Westmoreland County to the late William and Dorothy Green.
Wade was educated in the District of Columbia and Westmoreland County Public School Systems. He worked in the Carpet and Flooring industry for over 20 years as an independent contractor.
Wade enjoyed watching football and was a huge fan of the Washington Redskins. He enjoyed several genres of music including Go Go, Funk and music featuring the electric guitar. He had a genuine free spirit and people enjoyed his company.
Wade had his own creative way of communicating, often ending his conversations with phrases like, “See you round like a donut”, “It’s paid for” and, “Let it marinade”.
He leaves to cherish his memories a sister, Wendy Baisey (Jerome); brother, Jonathan Ball; nieces, Keyla, Brittney and Adrianne; nephews, Brandon, JB and William (Lil J); special aunt, Emily Blue; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Service of Remembrance for Mitchell W. Green will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 12 Noon in the sanctuary of Zion Baptist Church, 1274 Zion Church Road, Kinsale, Virginia.
