Pastor Emeritus James L. Johnson

We pause to announce the passing of Pastor Emeritus James L. Johnson, who departed this earthly life on Wednesday, May 14 at VCU Medical Center, Richmond, Virginia .

Pastor Johnson was the former Pastor of the Lyells Chapel Baptist Church, Warsaw, Virginia.

A Service of Remembrance will be held on Friday, May 23 at 12 Noon in the sanctuary of the Little Zion Baptist Church, 7748 Leedstown Rd. Oak Grove, Virginia.

Interment will follow in the Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery, Montross, Virginia.

Pastor Johnson will lie in state from 5PM until 7PM on Thursday, May 22 at Shiloh Baptist Church and from 11AM until service time on Friday, May 23 at Little Zion Baptist Church.
