Robin Henry

Robin Mae Henry was born in Baltimore, MD on October 13, 1961 to Lillian O’Carroll & and the late Donald O’Carroll.

Robin attended Baltimore City Public Schools and graduated in 1979. Robin worked at Sweetheart Cup Company for many years before relocating to Virginia. She began working at Walmart in Tappahannock, Virginia. She was employed there for over 20 years until her health declined.

Robin went home to be with the Lord on October 03, 2023. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald O’Carroll; father-in-law, Moses Henry, Jr; sister, Helena O’Carroll; brother, Alphonso Wilson; and nephew, Bryan Wilson.

Robin married her childhood sweetheart, Carlton Henry, on August 15,1987. To this union, two sons were born. Robin embraced motherhood and truly cherished her two sons.

Robin leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Carlton Henry of Tappahannock, VA; her two sons Dondre Henry of Tappahannock, VA and Devontae Henry of Tappahannock, VA; mother, Lillian O’Carroll of Baltimore, MD; mother-in-law, Gladys Henry of Tappahannock, VA; two sisters, Vanessa O’Carroll of Tappahannock, VA and Myoshi Jackson (Donnell) of Baltimore, MD; one brother, Donald O’Carroll of Baltimore, MD; two sisters-in law, Burnestine Henry-Brooks (John) of Tappahannock, VA and Pamela Wood (Russell) of Tappahannock, VA; two brothers-in-law, Michael Henry (Jennifer) of Tappahannock, VA and James Henry (Carla) of Warsaw, VA; special friends Wanda Stewart, Darlene Corbin, Darlene Banks and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

Home going Services for Robin Henry will be held on Saturday, October 14 at 12 Noon in the sanctuary of the Zion Baptist Church, 1274 Zion Church Road, Kinsale, Virginia.

Interment will follow in the Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.

Remains may be viewed from 4PM until 6PM on Friday, October 13 in the chapel of the WELDON-FISHER FUNERAL HOME and from 10AM until service time on Saturday, October 14 at Zion Baptist Church.
