Roland Thomas Wilson, Sr., affectionately known as “Hound”, was born November 25, 1944, in Westmoreland County, Virginia to the late Marshall and Georgiana Wilson.
Roland received his education from Westmoreland County Public Schools. Roland joined Zion Baptist Church in Tucker Hill, VA at an early age. Later in life, he joined the Community of Light Baptist Church where he became a Trustee and attended regularly until his health began to fail.
On November 20, 1965, Roland was united in holy matrimony to Ella Louise Clarke, and was blessed with three children, Buster, Flair and Chris.
Roland worked many years at Clark Construction in Washington D.C. where he was a foreman. After retiring he loved to spend time with his family and grandkids who could do no wrong in his eyes.
