On February 22, 2022 God whispered come go with me and the transition happened so suddenly. Theresa departed this earthly life and entered into eternal rest.
A Time To Be Born:
Theresa Ellen Ramos-Fernandez was born on April 21, 1961, in Fredricksburg, VA., to Frances “Delores” Baylor and Ronald B. Stewart Sr.
A Time To Learn:
Theresa was educated in the Westmoreland County Public Schools and graduated from Washington Lee High School in 1979.
A Time To Love:
Theresa met her prince charming, Glenwood Cupid Sr. and they became united as one on September 8, 1980. During their union and love they had three children; Glendora, Tameka, and Glenwood Jr.
A Time To Serve:
At an early age, Theresa joined Shiloh Baptist Church where she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She was an usher and member of the choir.
A Time To Live:
In 1988, Theresa was a dedicated CNA Nurse at King George Heritage Hall until her health started to decline. She enjoyed playing cards, board games and just spending time with family and friends having good ole fashion fun. Theresa was fun and loving, but she definitely was known for her very strong willed, straight forward, and never having a problem speaking her mind spirit.
A Time To Pass:
Theresa is proceeded in death by her grandfather, James M Johnson Sr.; stepfather, Deacon Charles Baylor; son, Glenwood Cupid Jr.; brothers: Rodney and Terence Stewart, Charles Anthony Baylor; stepsister, Carolyn Baylor Cole; nephew, Mshairi Alkebular II; and niece, Rachelle Williams.
A Time To Mourn:
Theresa leaves to cherish her memories her parents, Frances “Delores” Baylor and Ronald B. Stewart Sr. (Tonja); children: Glendora Cupid Adams (Justin) and Tameka Cupid; daughter-in-law, Crystal Thomas; brothers: Ronald “Tony”Stewart Jr. (Jennifer), Bishop Dr. Dwayne Stewart (First Lady Carla), Donnell Baylor; stepbrothers: Charles “Curtis” Baylor, Daryl Duncan and Don Green; Sisters: Michelle and Tiffany Stewart; stepsisters: Faye Alkebular, Beryl Armstrong (Robert) and Darlene Duncan (Shawn): grandchildren: Sequaan, Daquawna, Maeyanna, DeAndre, Niajah, DaNarii, Amiya, KiMorah, and Alayah; great-grandchildren: Ja’karia La’Niah Zi’Nae, Mavarie, Marzai and Malayah; grandmother: Blanche Johnson; uncles: Rev. Tyrone Johnson (Cherlyn), Harold Johnson, and Pastor, James Johnson Jr. (Diane); and a host of family and friends.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 7, 2022, at 12 Noon in the sanctuary of Maranatha Baptist Bible Church, 2179 Stoney Knoll Road, Colonial Beach, Virginia.
Interment will follow in the Smith Family Cemetery, Foxhall Road, Oak Grove, Virginia
Remains may be viewed from 11AM until service time on Monday at Maranatha Baptist Bible Church.
