Toni Howard Curley

Toni Jeanne Howard Curley was born on September 30, 1944, and she died peacefully on December 19, 2024 after a short illness. She resided in Colonial Beach, Virginia where she had settled with her husband, Calvin “Boe” Curley before his passing in 2013.

In her early years, Toni lived overseas in England but returned to The States to attend middle and high school. She graduated from McKinley Technological High School in 1963. Eager to be independent, Toni entered the workforce soon after graduating from McKinley and enjoyed a lengthy career in retail management. She lived in Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia with a short stay in New England along the way. 

Toni loved to have fun! She was joyous and effervescent with an infectious and memorable laugh. She was also an animal lover and usually had a dog and/or cat companion by her side. Toni was humorous and very lively, and she always maintained a child-like spark. She was preceded in death by her husband Calvin “Boe” Curley, her Mother Jeanne Marie Howard, and her father S. Howard. Toni is survived by her sister-in-law Alfreda Curley (who selflessly cared for her until the end), her chihuahua Baby Boy, and many loved ones.  A host of family and friends will miss Toni Jeanne’s lively and endearing spirit and always remember her fondly.
