Flossy Ann "Big Ann" Dameron passed away on Thursday, November 24.
Flossie Ann Dameron, 66 of Warsaw, Virginia, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 24, 2022. She was born on September 28, 1956, to the late William and Mary Burton of Hague, Virginia.
Flossie, known as “Big Ann” by all, was hardworking, outgoing, and sociable to everyone. She enjoyed good music, good food, and a good old family gathering.
Flossie leaves to cherish her precious memories three daughters: TaKesha (William Hackett), Samantha (Alfonso) Jackson, and Beverly Dameron (Randolph Henry Jr.); two sisters, Florence and Rosemary Turner; two brothers, Charles and John Turner; eighteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Flossie cherished her special friendship with Clara Gaines, Nicole Johnson, Darlene Jones, Pamela Day, and Peg Thompson. She also leaves behind two of her “golden girls”, May Branson and Patricia McDowney.
Flossie was preceded in death by her daughter, Sherry Moye; parents, William and Mary Burton; brothers, William, Parker, and Lloyd Turner.
Home Going Service will be held on Saturday, December 3 at 12 Noon in the sanctuary of the Jerusalem Baptist Church, 2404 Nomini Hall Road, Hague, Virginia.
Interment will follow in the Jerusalem Baptist Church Cemetery.
Remains may be viewed from 4PM until 6PM on Friday, December 2 in the chapel of the WELDON-FISHER FUNERAL HOME and from 10AM until service time on Saturday at Jerusalem Baptist Church.
